Manager - Health Information Management

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a Manager of Health Information Management (HIM) to oversee and manage the daily operations of the Health Information Management department at its North Port, FL, facility. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of clinical and financial data, and contributing to process improvement and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Oversee and assist with data collection, storage, retrieval, assembly, analysis, filing and retention of medical records/data.
• Implement and maintain processes and systems to ensure accurate and complete medical record documentation.
• Oversee and assist with discharge records analysis for practitioner deficiencies and data for accuracy, compliance and timeliness.
• Work with physicians to improve the quality of documentation.
• Report practitioner trends and audit results to the Performance Improvement Committee.
• Prepare and analyze clinical data for research purposes.
• Ensure HIM Key Indicators are tracked and reported monthly to the Performance Improvement Committee.
• Ensure State Reporting is accurate, complete and reported timely.
• Perform other functions as assigned.
