Assist with payroll duties, analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support financial planning tasks in a hospital environment.
Requirements
- Assist department supervisors with timesheet-related issues and corrections
- Manage time and attendance adjustments
- Oversee payroll processing activities
- Verify employees are paid accurately
- Monitor and ensure PTO balances are correctly recorded
- Run payroll reports and coordinate CFO approvals
- Ensure proper calculation and processing of employee taxes and deductions
- Manage documentation and adjudication of supplemental insurance and 401(k) deductions
- Submit 401(k) funding requests within 2 business days
- Maintain accurate payroll packet records
- Proactively report any payroll processing issues
- Support special projects as assigned
- Track contracted hours daily and prepare weekly FTE analysis
- Prepare quarterly payroll returns
- Analyze and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
- Recommend and post journal entries to correct or reclassify transactions
- Prepare and review monthly disclosure schedules
- Post monthly journal entries accurately and within corporate deadlines
- Assist CFO and Director of Finance in monthly operational analysis and variance reporting
- Contribute to monthly forecast preparation and adhere to corporate reporting deadlines
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and assist with financial planning tasks
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis
- Engage in special financial projects as directed by CFO or Director of Finance
