Job Description
The Evening English Language Arts (ELA) Adjunct Instructor at Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School supports adult learners through high-quality English instruction. This position reports to the Assistant Principal and serves within the Academics functional area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required (Education, English, Humanities, or related field preferred)
- Experience teaching adult learners strongly preferred
- Experience teaching literacy, English, writing, reading, social studies, or integrated humanities coursework
- Familiarity with College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education
- Experience with adult assessments (CASAS, GED, NEDP, Accuplacer) preferred
- Strong instructional, communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and adult learner success
