Job Description
Directs the Investment of the Company portfolio, Investment Accounting, Treasury management, and capital planning for the organization. Oversees the management of the Investment Portfolio and assists in developing and monitoring investment and cash management strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Math or Accounting or equivalent experience
- FLMI, CPA, CFA and/or CTP strongly recommended
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in investments, or accounting/finance position involved with investments
- Experience with fixed income investing is preferred
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred; or in a similar institutional investor setting
- Proficiency in PC applications and advanced spreadsheet modeling
- Experience with Microsoft office applications and data base systems required
- General understanding of Statements of Statutory Accounting Principles (SSAP)
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
