Job Description
A Sr. Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer/Contractor is being sought for a hybrid role with a client-facing focus. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly adapt to the company's work environment. They must be collaborative, strong communicators, and proficient in a variety of embedded systems development topics.
Requirements
- Embedded Linux system development
- Yocto and PetaLinux
- Experience with ARM SoCs, micro-controllers, and I/O hardware
- Proficiency with Real-time OS (ThreadX, VxWorks, FreeRTOS, etc.)
- C/C++ /Modern C++
- Knowledge of protocol stacks (TCP/IP, RTSP/RTP, USB, etc.)
- Experience with I/O hardware
- Experience with board bring-up
- Proficiency in version management tools (Git)
- Good knowledge of Schematics and Component Datasheets
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
