Capital Project Engineer

Join Solventum, a new healthcare company with a long legacy of solving big challenges that improve lives. As a Capital Project Engineer, you will manage capital projects from concept through commissioning while serving as the contractor’s designated representative for construction activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited university
• 2 years of experience in construction oversight or contractor-side project engineering in private, public, government or military environment
• Strong knowledge of construction management practices, safety programs, and contractor coordination
• Proficiency with project scheduling and cost control tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with facility systems such as HVAC, utilities, and electrical distribution
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent)
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with pharmaceutical, medical device, or other highly regulated industries
