Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Finance Consultant for a growing small business to assume ownership of both bookkeeping and higher-level accounting functions. The role requires attention to detail, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and the ability to maintain financial accuracy. The consultant will also assist with year-end reporting and collaborate with external professionals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance administration (small business experience preferred)
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online or Desktop
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for building and maintaining manual reports
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP knowledge a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive problem solver
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to confidentiality
- Fully functional computer with endpoint protection
- Able to work in the Philippines and US Pacific time zone
