The Dining Room Supervisor plays a key leadership role within the culinary department by ensuring high-quality dining service, excellent customer experience, and smooth day-to-day front-of-house (FOH) operations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, healthcare dietary services, or senior living preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassion, respect, and professionalism when interacting with residents and staff.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a server in a restaurant, senior living, or hospitality setting
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a lead, trainer, or supervisory capacity.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass background check and routine TB test.
- Ability to use general office equipment and basic computer systems.
- Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful or fast-paced situations.
