Does Workable have a public API for job postings?

Not for other companies' jobs. The Workable API needs an access token generated inside the account you want to read, so it works for your own account only.

How do I get Workable jobs across companies, not just one?

Call POST /v2/jobs/search with "job_board": ["workable"]. Hirebase already indexes the Workable boards of 8,693 companies, so one paginated request returns jobs across all of them. Add job_titles, geo_locations, salary or any other search filter to narrow it down.

How many companies does Hirebase track on Workable?

Yes. job_board takes a list, so ["workable", "greenhouse", "lever"] returns all of them in the same job schema. Leave job_board out to search every source we index.

The job object has job_board, job_board_link (the board it was found on), application_link, and platform_job_id, the source ATS's own job ID.

The Official API

Workable's own API. What it does, and what it doesn't.

Workable's API reads and writes one account's data and is authenticated with a token generated inside that account.

It offers

Jobs, candidates and stages for one account ({subdomain}.workable.com/spi/v3/jobs).
Access tokens generated by an admin in that account's settings.

It doesn't

No token, no data. You can only read accounts that give you a token.
No list of the companies that use it. You need each company's identifier before you can call anything.
One company per request. No search or filtering across employers.
Its own schema. Combining it with another ATS means writing a second integration and a mapping layer.
