Does Lever have a public API for job postings?

Yes, per company. The Lever Postings API returns a company's published postings without a key if you know its Lever account name. Everything else in the Lever API needs that company's key or OAuth grant.

How do I get Lever jobs across companies, not just one?

Call POST /v2/jobs/search with "job_board": ["lever"]. Hirebase already indexes the Lever boards of 3,610 companies, so one paginated request returns jobs across all of them. Add job_titles, geo_locations, salary or any other search filter to narrow it down.

The Official API

Lever's own API. What it does, and what it doesn't.

Lever publishes a public Postings API for one company's job site, and a separate authenticated API for a customer's own hiring data.

It offers

Public, unauthenticated reads of one site's published postings (api.lever.co/v0/postings/{company}?mode=json).
Filters by team, location, commitment and level within that site.
The authenticated Lever API for candidates and opportunities, with a key or OAuth grant from that company.

It doesn't

No list of the companies that use it. You need each company's identifier before you can call anything.
One company per request. No search or filtering across employers.
Only what is published right now. Closed postings simply disappear from the response.
Its own schema. Combining it with another ATS means writing a second integration and a mapping layer.
