Chilled Water Dist Tech

The Chilled Water Distribution Technician is a key contributor to the Vanderbilt University Maintenance and Operations (VUMO) department. This full-time position ensures efficient cooling water systems on campus during the summer and requires preventative maintenance throughout the winter, working closely with other CWD technicians, the controls group, and the campus HAR technicians and electricians. The position is part of a larger Facilities business operations center supporting various departments.

Requirements

• Perform equipment repairs/updates as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance on chillers (removal, brushing, pumping, monitoring)
• Clean pump strainers, motor and tank
• Monitor and change filters
• Perform work order management
• Supervisory Relationship (no supervisory responsibility)
