Upstart is looking for a Senior Lifecycle Manager to own and scale lifecycle marketing for new and growing products, including Cash Line. The role involves designing and optimizing end-to-end customer journeys, driving growth through mobile-first lifecycle programs, and analyzing performance across campaigns and lifecycle stages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 6-8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing roles
- Hands-on experience building and executing lifecycle campaigns using a marketing automation platform (e.g., Iterable, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B or multivariate tests, including defining success metrics and interpreting results
- Proficiency in data analysis using spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Model)
- Experience managing lifecycle marketing across multiple stages of the customer journey (e.g., acquisition, activation, retention, winback)
- Experience designing lifecycle strategies for mobile app experiences, including push notifications and in-app messaging
- Knowledge of customer data platforms (CDPs) and event-driven marketing systems
- Ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights that inform marketing strategy
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Creative teams on campaign execution
