Job Description
UJET is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Porto, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based systems, with a focus on Google Cloud. They will be responsible for monitoring site stability, performance, and security, and will have the opportunity to own infrastructure projects end-to-end.
Requirements
- 4+ years production experience with one or more public Cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong programming and/or scripting skills in any of Python, Go, Node.js, Ruby
- 2+ years production experience with Kubernetes (both operational and application design)
- Strong experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
- Solid understanding of Linux containerization with Docker
- Experience with monitoring and dashboards - Prometheus preferred
- Experience with test automation and CI/CD, such as GitOps
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in globally distributed teams
- BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
