Job Description
This Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) position in Sabah, Malaysia involves providing technical and managerial guidance to the Clerk of Works (COWs). The role focuses on coordinating with site personnel, monitoring project progress, reviewing documentation, and collaborating with the Work Package Contractor (WPC) on quality and safety. Responsibilities include assisting with project reporting, verifying work, and ensuring compliance with HSSE standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years (s) of proven working experience in construction site supervision.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality assurance processes.
- Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and safety standards.
