Job Description
Tri-State is seeking System Operators to maintain the real-time operation of their Interconnected Transmission System. This is a shift position covering 24/7, requiring coordination of switching requests, and preparation of reporting documents. System Operators will work under NERC and RRO standards, ensuring reliable power delivery to customers. A combination of Trainee, I, II, or Senior positions may be offered based on experience and qualification.
Requirements
- Prepare transmission switching programs.
- Model switching programs with Energy Management System (EMS) simulations.
- Coordinate switching and outage requests.
