Transport for London (TfL) is the public transport authority responsible for managing and operating the city’s multimodal network, including the Tube, buses, trams, river services, and cycling infrastructure, serving millions of commuters daily. With a century-long legacy, TfL prioritizes continuous improvement through customer feedback, community engagement, and data‑driven decision making, leveraging technology such as Oyster, contactless payments, and real‑time journey planning to enhance the passenger experience. The organization also plays a pivotal role in shaping London’s mobility strategy, delivering large‑scale capital projects like the Elizabeth Line and modernising stations to improve safety, accessibility, and sustainability. TfL’s distinctive brand—recognizable red buses, black taxis, and iconic roundels—combined with its commitment to innovation, safety, and inclusive transport, positions it as a leading global example of urban mobility management.
