Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Clinical Veterinarian to provide diagnostic and clinical veterinary care for client-owned animals in the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. The successful candidate will work cooperatively with others, provide on-call and backup emergency services, and perform diagnostic surgical and medical procedures as needed.
Requirements
- DVM degree from an AVMA-accredited college or certification from the AVMA's ECFVG or PAVE program
- Three years of related experience
- Licensed DVM in at least one state, with Texas Veterinary License
- Passing score on the NAVLE and Texas State Board examination
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods, lift or move objects and/or animals of medium weight, and work beyond normal office hours
