Job Description
Research Professor IOR in the Institute of Obesity Research (IOR) at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey, MX. Develop and lead research activities to prevent and treat obesity and metabolic diseases in Mexican and Latin American populations.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biotecnology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Nanotechnology, Experimental Medicine, Food Sciences or related fields
- A substantial history of publications in high-impact journals (Q1/Q2) in the last five years
- A Scopus h-index of 15 at least
- Advanced level of English proficiency: C1 level of the MCER or 600 points in the TOEFL
- Spanish proficiency is desirable but not required
- Membership in the National System of Researchers of CONAHCyT in Mexico or equivalent credentials
- Proven experience in attracting funds, either from national or international funding sources
