Job Description
Stantec is seeking a motivated Engineer in Training to support the delivery of complex Ports and Marine Terminals projects in British Columbia. The role provides foundational skills and knowledge, allowing the candidate to build their career through the successful delivery of projects across all phases (planning, design, construction, maintenance), while developing design and construction skills/knowledge. The position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- Provide EIT support to Engineers on varying sized projects.
- Support Project Manager(s) / Director(s) in project delivery.
- Develop, track and update cost forecasts, maintain and update project cost reports, develop and update project schedules, support procurement and maintain document management systems.
- Conduct material quantity take-offs, analysis/calculations, hand sketches, CAD Drafting, and other EIT support tasks.
- Assist in reviewing drawings, drafting technical reports, memorandums and other technical documents.
- Assist in contract administration, coordination, contract development and other contract support tasks.
