SNA International seeks a bright, collaborative DNA Analyst to join our team. As a DNA Analyst, you will work with our team to build a safe and just world by empowering organizations in the use of forensics, biometrics and identity intelligence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or forensic related area with coursework in genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, statistics and/or population genetics
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a forensic laboratory performing DNA analysis on criminal and/or intelligence materials
- Ability to extract DNA using automated platforms
- Generation of STR DNA profiles
- Experience with mixture interpretations using probabilistic genotyping software
- Experience with submission of DNA profiles to databases
- Experience in technical and administrative case file reviews
- Ability to pass a skills assessment upon hire
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Ability to obtain a US passport
- Ability to complete and pass a medical assessment per customer requirements
