We are seeking a Mid-Level System / Network Engineer to support the development of the Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) counter-UAS Virtual Trainer (MVT). This program, led by the USMC and Navy out of Dahlgren, aims to design, build, and deliver two fully functional MADIS mock-up vehicles—based on the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV)—for immersive, realistic virtual training.
Requirements
- Develop and articulate technical specifications and integration documentation
- Support selection and integration of all network equipment, access, network control, deployment, management, and support
- Support review and updates of the System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
- Lead development, integration, and maintenance of the configuration management (CM) program
- Assemble, integrate, test, demonstrate, manage logistics and assets, and document as-built systems
- Support development and delivery of sustainment strategy for RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability)
- Lead procurement and integration of all required IT and infrastructure components necessary for IT integration
- Review all specifications, standards, and handbooks and ensure compliance. Provide specs and spec reviews to the team and develop and provide compliance documentation
- Contribute to development of User manual and Maintenance manual.
