Job Description
This monitoring position involves observing patient electrocardiographic (ECG) patterns, reporting arrhythmias, and documenting patient information in the electronic medical record. The role involves operating cardiac monitoring systems, recording patient data, and assisting with code events. It requires ensuring adequate monitoring supplies and troubleshooting equipment.
Requirements
- Operates complex cardiac monitoring systems.
- Records patient's cardiac monitoring status.
- Admits and discharges patients from the telemetry monitor.
- Maintains accurate census of patients on the unit.
