Job Description
Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Activity Specialist to guide students in after-school activities. This role focuses on facilitating lesson plans, projects, and activities related to the arts and academic goals, promoting life-time decision-making, and creating opportunities for students to thrive. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of youth development and a commitment to community engagement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (degree preferred)
- 1+ years of teaching experience
- Passion for youth development and the mission of HCZ
- Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience working in youth development
