Job Description
The Sr. Scientist II – Toxicology is responsible for providing subject matter expertise and leading toxicology and nonclinical development for ophthalmic therapeutics and devices. This role involves designing in vivo toxicology studies, evaluating data, overseeing study schedules, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The individual will contribute to the development plan and be a Key Contact for outsourced studies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of medical device or pharmaceuticals experience
- M.S. degree in Biological Sciences and/or toxicology with +10 years of experience
- PhD Biological Sciences and/or toxicology with +8 years of experience
- At least 4 years of understanding and working with GLP and pre-clinical settings
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
