Job Description
A newly established start-up in Silicon Valley is seeking a Research Scientist (AI) – Biomedical Imaging to transform biology and medicine through generative AI. The company is pioneering pan-modal Large Biological Models (LBM) and is at the forefront of a revolutionary field with offices in Silicon Valley, Paris, and Abu Dhabi. They aim to decode biology and enable life-transforming solutions.
Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent expertise) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Proven track record in research and innovation in top-tier AI/ML or biology journals/conferences.
- Experience using advanced ML/AI for imaging and vision data analysis, modeling, or generation.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
- Strong theoretical foundation (statistics, optimization, etc.).
- Passion for interdisciplinary research and willingness to learn biology.
- Self-driven with ability to work with incomplete objectives.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices and open-source contributions.
