Job Description
Senior Technician (VTC) responsible for improving service continuity and innovation efforts related to voice and video conferencing technology. Provides technical support to projects, plans and carries out routine configuration and maintenance operations, and creates technical documentation.
Requirements
- Currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience
- Exceptionally, a university degree may be compensated by extensive and progressive expertise in related duties
- At least 2 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing collaboration tools and platforms
- Experience deploying communication and collaboration software
- Proven experience in configuring and operating Voice and VTC core systems and end devices
- Experience in deployment and configuration of security features in the voice and VTC domains
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good working knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies
- Experience providing end users support
- Certified ITIL Foundation
- Desirable: experience with collaboration solutions from major vendors, qualification of Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration, experience with monitoring platforms and protocols, scripting experience in Python, and experience with cloud-based collaboration solutions
