Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plant Engineer to join our team in Hamilton, providing hands-on maintenance service and overseeing maintenance teams to contribute to an uninterrupted flow of production.
Requirements
- Providing effective, hands-on maintenance service to plant operations and departments
- Planning, implementing, and conducting maintenance of the facilities to contribute to an uninterrupted and economic flow of production
- Overseeing and supervising a small maintenance team, providing supervision, support and assistance
- Managing the maintenance budget, ensuring costs are in line with the annual expenditure budget
- Implementing and maintaining preventative maintenance records
- Managing contractors and relationships with suppliers
- Assisting in the development of process changes to support manufacturing of new products
