Duke University

Master's degree in Nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, current RN licensure, national certification as a NP or Physician Assistant, and DEA license

RCP: North Carolina State Licensure or Provisional License, Certification by NBRC. RCP Advanced: North Carolina State Licensure, Registry (RRT) by NBRC, Certification in Basic Life Support, ACLS, PALS, NRPS if applicable

4-year degree in athletic training, NCBATE license, and National BOC certification required

Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program, must obtain ARDMS OB/GYN certification within 18 months, Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable

High school or GED graduation, Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA or ARMA

3+ years of clinical management experience in Respiratory Care, RRT by NBRC, CoARC approved respiratory care program

NP: 1 year experience in high acuity adult CTICU/ICU, RN license, ACNP, AGACNP certification. PA: 1-year experience as PA in an adult high acuity critical care/CTICU setting OR a one-year Critical Care Fellowship, PA-C certification

2+ years of General Orthopaedics Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant work experience. Comfortable with autonomy in clinical practice treating both adult and pediatric patients

Ophthalmic Technician training and certification, at least some experience

Surgical Technology program or 0-18 months experience, with a focus on sterile technique and patient safety
