Job Description
The Phlebotomist will collect blood samples, perform lab duties, and manage patient information in the laboratory. This role involves specimen collection, labeling, patient education, and adherence to established procedures. The role is part-time and requires working the 5am-1:30pm shift.
Requirements
- Collect patient samples
- Perform waived and specified non-waived POC tests as authorized by the director
- Identify patient using unique identifiers
- Ensure specimen adequacy
- Perform laboratory office duties (patient information entry, specimen handling, operation of equipment)
