Right of Way Agent

Join Canacre's team in an exciting role working on leading edge infrastructure projects. As a Right of Way Agent, you will be responsible for acquisition and enforcement of real property rights required for the operation, maintenance, and expansion of transmission, distribution, and communication systems.

Requirements

• Secondary degree or accreditation in a related field
• 2-3 years of experience negotiating property rights documents
• Experience drafting and negotiating property rights documents
• Knowledge of Real Estate principles
• Clear, concise written and oral communications
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Earth)
• Ability to plot metes and bounds descriptions of property
• Ability to evaluate, interpret, and analyze engineering and right-of-way drawings
• Ability to interpret and research legal documents
• Ability to research, develop and determine valuation of local real estate
• Ability to create and manage project forecasts
