Veterinarian (Pet Resource Center)

The Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center is seeking a Cooperative Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical care to homeless and unwanted pets. This role involves treating a large volume of animals, performing spay/neuter surgeries, providing customer service, and collaborating with a veterinary team. Responsibilities include veterinary exams, surgeries, creating detailed records, and ensuring the health of all animals in the shelter.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited university or Veterinary licensure by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation
• Licensed as a Veterinarian in the State of Florida
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Must be eligible to obtain a Federal Drug Enforcement Administration License
• Ability to obtain a Veterinary License in Florida
