Master Electrician (Facilities Department)

This Skilled Electrician position at the County involves performing specialized electrical maintenance and repair tasks to keep County electrical systems and equipment in optimal condition. The role requires careful planning and execution, with the ability to respond to emergencies and adhere to established procedures. The position is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week position.

Requirements

• Services high and low voltage motor control and power equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs air conditioning and refrigeration units.
• Wires buildings and make additions to existing wiring.
• Installs and repairs industrial and general lighting fixtures and controls.
• Repairs kitchen equipment.
• Plans details of working procedure.
• Estimates costs and maintains records.
• Responsible for filing for permits.
• Participate in a rotating on-call system.
