Accounting Asst Medical Billing

This accounting assistant role supports the Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation facility by managing accounts receivable subsidiary ledger for residents. Responsibilities include preparing billings, monitoring financial status, handling patient and insurance information, and ensuring accurate billing. The position also requires collaboration with internal departments and external agencies to complete reimbursement and billing tasks.

Requirements

• Prepares monthly bills for Medicare, Medicaid, Third Party Insurers, and Private Pay residents.
• Monitors the financial status of Private Pay residents and initiates for Medical Assistance coverage.
• Maintains accounts receivable subsidiary ledger by entering data.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
• Implements medical billing regulations and ensures adherence.
