Job Description
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking contract general dentists to deliver comprehensive dental care at multiple service units in Arizona, Nevada, and California. Providers will focus on routine, emergency, and specialty treatments for a diverse patient population, requiring cross-cultural sensitivity and effective communication through interpreters.
Requirements
- DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited institution
- Unrestricted any state dental license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general dentistry
- Ability to work in Remote Areas and travel if necessary
- Background check and character investigation as per the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act
- Credentialing and fingerprinting required before starting
