Job Description
The Recipient Herdsman is responsible for general care of recipient herds from calving through 60-day pregnancy and over 8 months for live calf and clone pregnancies. This includes assisting with maintenance, processing, and pregnancy checks, as well as providing daily care to cattle, sorting and synchronizing them, and assisting with transportation and selling cull cows. The role involves maintaining yards, handling animals, and providing a safe environment.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Physical Requirements (working conditions: standing, walking, long periods of time in outdoor environments)
- Literate penmanship and computer experience (preferred)
