Salesforce Functional Consultant

The Functional Consultant role at Zuri Group provides functional support and guidance to clients, specializing in Salesforce CRM implementations for nonprofit and higher education. This position involves leading and supporting client projects, focusing on business process design, system configuration, training, and post-launch support. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, a curious nature, and an ability to develop logical solutions to complex problems.

Requirements

• 2+ years in higher education advancement or development
• 2+ years non-profit/higher ed CRM experience (Salesforce, BBCRM, Ascend, and/or Affinaquest)
• Ability to collaborate and establish strong working relationships with various teams and lead conversations about technical concepts with audiences of varying levels of experience, including non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of philanthropy practices and advancement services
• Enthusiasm for learning and an openness to feedback
• Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to document and organize tasks and decisions
• Effective in building consensus and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including executives and senior level staff
• Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new situations
