Taco Bell is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Data Analyst to design and develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to support business operations and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting, and experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake. Responsibilities include analyzing complex data sets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Statistics, Math, or related field.
- 8+ years of Industry experience in a business intelligence data analyst and report developer role.
- 5+ years of solid hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining data visualizations using BI analytical tools, specifically PowerBI, Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake.
- 5+ years of proven solid experience in designing and developing physical and logical data models to support the creation of complex data visualizations.
- 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries across high-volume data sets.
- Highly proficient in SQL optimization techniques and PostgreSQL database systems.
- Familiarity working with lake houses, data warehouses, relational databases, and data modeling techniques.
- Experience in embedding data visualizations in external and internal applications.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and work independently as part of a team.
- Be a flexible, adaptive learner, go-to-expert in the disciple, and keep up with a fast-changing business model.
- Willingness to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders and enthusiastic about solving business problems using data visualizations.
- Recommend optimal data visualization solutions and eager to share/collaborate with reporting authors and consumers.
- Demonstrate time management, teamwork, and prioritization skills.
- Relevant industry experience in retail/QSR is a plus.
- Excellent facilitation, oral and written communication, and presentation skills to easily explain information to technical and non-technical functional/cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exposure and entry-level experience in the AWS cloud platform and Snowflake are a plus.
- High-level knowledge of data engineering concepts and processes.
- Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools in day-to-day analytics
