Application Security Engineer, X

xAI is seeking a skilled Application Security Engineer to enhance the security and integrity of their cloud-native applications. This role focuses on code security, CI/CD pipelines, and emerging AI technologies, requiring collaboration with development teams and a focus on staying current with security threats. The engineer will also be responsible for managing vulnerability tracking and remediation efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in application security
• Deep understanding of secure coding practices
• Proficiency in Python or Rust programming languages
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and implementing DevSecOps practices
• Familiarity with software supply chain security and SBOM generation tools
• Understanding of AI/ML security implications
• Excellent communication skills
