The Community Life Coordinator will work with the Life Enrichment Team to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities for residents, and provide excellent customer service in a fun and engaging work environment. The position requires a college graduate with at least one year of experience in an elder care community setting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technology applications.

- College graduate preferred
- At least one year of experience working in an elder care community setting

- Ability to work closely with team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals
- Ability to clearly present information through the spoken word, accurately communicate, providing the necessary level of detail even under stressful or demanding conditions
- Skilled in presenting information to groups and individuals
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and other information technology applications
- All candidates must be proficient in basic computer programs and must be able to correspond timely through e-mail or other forms of technical communication as needed to successfully complete the requirements for this job
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrates advanced oral and written communication skills
- Able to conduct internet research to plan events and activities
- Capable of functioning independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
- Demonstrates the ability to define problems and suggest/implement solutions
- Demonstrates strong planning, organizational, presentation and facilitation skills
- Demonstrates understanding and empathy for the unique needs of the elderly
- Must display a courteous, friendly and helpful customer-service oriented attitude toward residents, family members, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrates knowledge of elder care and HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency with office equipment: copier, printer, scanner, fax machine, telephone, digital camera
