Pou Manaaki Community Coordinator

The Pou Manaaki Community Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equity for and Pacific communities within primary care settings.

Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of, and adherence to, project management principles (desirable)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good levels of computer literacy
• A high degree of self-motivation, willingness, and self-responsibility to continually improve
• Strong time management skills and task focused attitude
• Display high levels of professionalism
• Effective interpersonal skills to establish good relationships with patients, families, and colleagues within the organisation
• Ability to deal with unexpected situations and crises while maintaining a professional manner
• Ability to act with discretion, sensitivity, and integrity at all times
• Coordination and administration skills, with strong attention to detail
• Experience working in a community support and/or health sector role
• Demonstrated experience working with MS Office Suite
• Sound understanding of te ao and Pacific cultures and diversity
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create sustainable, positive working relationships
• Experience in customer service or related areas
