CAE Engineer

We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and analyzing composite materials and allied structures. This role combines mechanical design and finite element analysis (FEA), offering the opportunity to contribute to the conceptualization and structural validation of advanced automobile components.

Requirements

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for automobile components, emphasizing composite structures.
• Create CAD models aligned with design requirements and performance specifications.
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) using tools such as Ansys Mechanical, Workbench, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, or PATRAN to ensure structural integrity and optimize designs.
• Evaluate and iterate designs through simulation results and experimental validation.
• Plan and execute necessary experiments to gather data for design inputs and improvements.
• Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and collaborate with drafting teams to produce precise engineering drawings.
• Design and analyze joints, assemblies, and interfaces considering material behavior and load paths.
• Incorporate AI-based advancements in simulation and design optimization where applicable.
• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet design-for-manufacturing (DFM) standards and integrate seamlessly into production.
