Registrar - GAIN Program

VLRC is seeking a Registrar for the GAIN Program to register clients, gather and record client information, and assign client records to appropriate staff. The Registrar will utilize the electronic medical record application to complete a broad range of duties, including updates referrals, assigns services and interventions, and provides information about the GAIN Program and VLRC services and resources.

Requirements

• Proficient level of knowledge in the electronic medical record application, including the management of caseloads
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Sensitivity to the needs of persons with vision loss
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Detail-oriented, with ability to enter data accurately
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and database management and willingness to learn new software applications
