
Job description
Provides direct service and routine nursing aide care in a clinically intensive program designed to meet the needs of clients who have been diagnosed with a brain injury and who may also have complex medical needs.
Assists with activities of daily living, medication administration, and other related tasks. Provides role model and support to clients, assists individuals in becoming fully integrated into their communities, and creates a safe and clean environment.
Requires knowledge of empowerment and self-advocacy techniques, sensitivity to cultural and disability issues, and ability to balance competing priorities. Must be able to work in a professional and confidential capacity.
