Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector, Location: Veghel, Job Description: Responsible for measuring and inspecting electromechanical parts for Vanderlande Material Handling systems, advising Quality Engineers on product release risks and current or potential issues. Key activities include planning and performing measurements and inspections, monitoring and reporting, and advising QA Engineers. The role requires drive and initiative, with a pro-active attitude focused on assuring the quality of Vanderlande’s products. The Quality Inspector will work as part of a team of QA professionals and align with Vanderlande’s Global Quality community on processes, way of working and improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience with electromechanical parts, electromechanical parts production, basic knowledge of statistics, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Planning, performing and reporting measurements and inspections
• Monitoring measurements and inspections
• Advising the QA Engineers in releases of Vanderlande products at suppliers
• Advising the QA Engineers in root cause analysis for quality problems
• Be pro-active in continues improvement
• Act as an ambassador for QA, with the ability to give presentations towards stakeholders
• Work and participate as part of a team of QA professionals and align with Vanderlande’s Global Quality community on processes, way of working and improvements.
• Work according to procedures/standards as agreed upon within Vanderlande’s Global Quality community and act as a role model for colleague QA Engineers and Inspectors.
