Senior Lecturer/Lecturer position in Piezoelectric Microsystems MEMS Materials & Devices at Tyndall National Institute, University College, Cork. The appointee will have a strong track record of delivering innovative research outcomes at the cutting edge of their field and will play a key role leading and connecting microsystems/MEMS-related activities in the School of Engineering and the Tyndall National Institute.
Requirements
- Research experience and expertise to at least PhD level
- Expertise in the design and/or fabrication of semiconductor technologies for microsystems/MEMS components based on piezoelectric thin films and/or substrates
- Application of microsystems/MEMS components in RF filter circuits or other RF components for reconfigurable RF front-ends in 5G/6G communications systems
- Ability to develop exciting research ideas and lead independent research
- Experience/interest in the heterogeneous integration of microsystems components into functional circuits
