Texas Workforce Commission is seeking a Program Specialist in Austin. The ideal candidate will take initiative, have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, and be an active learner. They must have a positive and optimistic attitude, strong professional verbal and written communication skills, and excellent computer skills. The Program Specialist will perform advanced consultative services and technical assistance work under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The ideal candidate will have two years and six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency, and experience with federal employment programs and training services.
