As a Team Lead Electronics, you will drive the development of advanced electronic instrumentation and advise researchers on instrumentation and measurement issues. You will work closely with an autonomous engineering team and represent the team within the organization. The role also includes an educational component, teaching an electronics course and supervising HBO-level internship students.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in Electronics (or equivalent experience), or a degree in quantum related Physics with demonstrable electronics expertise.
- Leadership experience, managing small technical team.
- A practical, hands on, and analytical mindset, able to provide quick technical solutions.
- The ability to plan and reason about high level system architectures.
- The ability to translate research questions into electronics requirements and vice versa.
- A proactive, collaborative, and self starting attitude.
- Interest in cutting edge Physics; knowledge of quantum systems is an advantage.
- Genuine interest in your colleagues’ work and eagerness to share your own.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; teaching experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; Dutch proficiency is preferred, or willingness to learn it.
