Program Manager- System PMO

Join UChicago Medicine as a Program Manager - System PMO. This position is based on-site at Hyde Park, with remote flexibility. Some travel to alternate site locations around Chicagoland will be required. The Program Manager will lead a collection of project implementations, providing program-level oversight to cross-functional teams, ensuring that individual initiatives within the program are aligned, successful, and on track to delivery of intended outcomes and value.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training
• At least five (5) years of experience in healthcare, management consulting, strategy, or related fields, in a strategy/growth/product role
• At least 3 years in large scale program and/or project management experience overseeing enterprise implementations preferably within a health system
• Expert knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts
• Ability to assess systemwide needs for products and design services to meet those needs
• Working knowledge of related initiatives and an understanding the impact on the organization of such initiatives
• Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to determine relevance and prioritize tasks
• Effective writing and communications skills
• Experience in healthcare, product development, strategy, or related field
• Intellectual curiosity and strong critical thinking skills with ability to synthesize disparate sources of data
• Entrepreneurial spirit and drive. Willingness to take risks, to advocate for new ideas, coupled with a commitment to measurement and accountability
• Strong persuasion and negotiations skills, and the ability to engage, challenge and influence one's thinking to effect change throughout an organization
• Commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards; personal and professional integrity above reproach
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Project Management Professional (PMP)/Scrum Master certification
• Agile scrum experience highly
