Technical Advisor - EOD

HALO is seeking a Technical Advisor (EOD) to provide training and operational support on explosive ordnance disposal within the program in Papua New Guinea. The role involves mentoring, quality assurance, and ensuring safety of explosive storehouses and central demolitions sites. It is a forward-based position based in Oro, New Britain, and Bougainville. Requirements

• An extensive background in conducting EOD operations and relevant military and/or civilian qualifications.
• Experience delivering EOD training.
• Strong IT and general computer skills (particularly Microsoft Office).
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Resiliency and stamina to cope with physical demanding and basic conditions.
• Proactive nature to identify problems and address them, remain self-motivated.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Personal organisation.
• Familiarity with and adherence to HALO's core values.
