Multimedia Journalist, Oshkosh, WI, WGBA

WGBA, the NBC affiliate owned by The E.W. Scripps Company in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is searching for its next Multimedia Journalist. As an MMJ, you'll research, capture visual content, write, and edit stories for multiple platforms. Oshkosh has plenty for a journalist to cover and enjoy, with a growing business district, a university, and the Wisconsin Herd, the Milwaukee Bucks G-League team. The station values innovation and experimentation and is looking for a community expert to highlight the proud and dynamic people in Oshkosh and surrounding communities.

Requirements

• BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
• Generally, 3+ years of experience in a related field preferred
• Computer literacy required, including newsroom computer systems
• Videography and non-linear editing experience preferred
• Knowledge of broadcast-quality camera equipment
• Edit video on Final Cut Pro editing systems, or similar equipment
• Strong broadcast and AP-style writing skills
• Proficient at posting content to various websites
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company-required insurance limits
